Veterans Day: A Day of Remembrance

Veterans Day, held on November 11 every year, is a celebrated day of those who selflessly served our country for the human right to freedom, that of which American’s are incredibly lucky for.

Did you know that Veterans Day (originally named Armistice ) day was named by Woodrow Wilson in 1919 in honor of those who fought in the first World War?

“To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations.”
